I’ve enjoyed the production process of filming and interviewing people as part of productions for Downlands College and Brisbane Boys’ College.
Discovering the history of both schools as part of the process was particularly interesting to me.
However as I got to meet and interview more staff, students and past students as part of these productions there was one feeling that I couldn’t shake.
I wanted to find out more.
I was just focusing on just one part of the school.
I wanted to find out more.
The school films and I edit.
Sounds simple and it can be achieved through a structured approach where I have the following information.
> Schools marketing and department goals (ie : Sports excellence program)
> Production infrastructure (ie : smartphones, cameras, drones, etc)
> Talent depth (ie: student filmmakers, presenters)

THE SCHOOL VLOG SERIES
The School VLOG series is the most effective way to communicate and document the different strories within a school. The training of both staff and students to capture content to allow me to create storylines within each VLOG episode is achieved in a much shorter time frame compared to other types of productions.
